About Me

Mike Daly is a Realtor whose approach to real estate is rooted in service, compassion, and forming a genuine connection with every client he works with. His goal is to guide people through one of life's most meaningful transitions with integrity, compassion, unwavering commitment, excitement, and support. He works in real estate to build relationships and serve every client with empathy, patience, and genuine care.

After proudly serving four years in the United States Air Force, Mike began his professional career at American Airlines, where he provided data processing support to airports, travel agencies, and large corporate clients. He later transitioned into sales and marketing, gaining extensive experience working with diverse clients and complex transactions. During his time at American, Mike earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing and Organizational Behavior from Central Connecticut State University, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University.

Mike's real estate career has been both broad and rewarding. He has marketed and sold a wide range of properties, including land, operating hotels, large office buildings, multi-family residences, single-family homes, and a residential subdivision. He has managed major commercial transactions and worked with corporate lenders, institutional investors, and individual buyers and sellers. No matter the scope or scale of the deal, one principle has always guided him: a deep commitment to helping clients achieve their goals as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. Mike believes that communication is the key to every successful transaction, and he brings that dedication to every client, whether you are a first-time buyer, a seasoned homeowner, or someone preparing to downsize. His goal is straightforward and unwavering: to provide every client with a first-class real estate experience.

Beyond real estate, Mike's life has been defined by service and resilience. As a cancer survivor, he understands first hand the challenges faced by patients and their families. He has volunteered with Connecticut Children's Medical Center and the "Reach for the Stars" campaign, and he is active in the American Cancer Society's Men Wear Pink program, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and patient support.

Mike remains deeply engaged in both the professional and local community. He serves on the Greater Hartford Board of Realtors Legislative Affairs Committee and as a Trustee of the Greater Hartford Board of Realtors Foundation. He is Vice Chair of the Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association Foundation, President of the Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, and an Ambassador with the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is a proud member of the Peter P. Monaco, Jr. Detachment 40 of the Marine Corps League, where he works to support local veterans.

Mike is dedicated to public service and civic involvement, including serving on his Parish Council and participating actively in organizations that strengthen the Greater Hartford community. Outside of his professional and volunteer work, he enjoys reading, writing, public speaking, walking, and ballroom dancing at his local Arthur Murray studio. Above all, he treasures the time he spends with family and friends.

With decades of experience, a compassionate spirit, and a genuine love for helping people, Mike brings empathy, integrity, and a steady hand to every real estate journey, guiding clients through one of life's most meaningful transitions and helping them begin their next chapter with confidence and joy. Whether it's helping a first-time homebuyer start their story, supporting a family as they downsize, or celebrating with someone who has found their forever dream home, his goal is to make every client feel supported, informed, and joyful. He strives to honor the trust his clients place in him, and he is aware that he must earn that trust every day by providing exceptional service, clear communication, and a steady hand throughout the process.

Real estate isn't just a profession for Mike; it's a way to help people write the next chapter of their life with confidence and excitement.

In the Pink—for a Worthwhile Cause

REALTOR® Mike Daly of Glastonbury, Connecticut, has become known for his bold and playful use of pink clothing—but behind the attention-grabbing style is a deeply personal mission. A cancer survivor himself, Daly uses humor and visibility to support the American Cancer Society and raise awareness about breast cancer. Whether he’s skydiving in pink gear, competing in a dance contest in a pink tuxedo, or attending community events dressed head-to-toe in pink, his goal is to spark conversations and inspire action. Over five years, he has raised about $60,000, with a personal goal of reaching $100,000 before retiring.

Daly’s advocacy is rooted in his own experience. Diagnosed with a rare melanoma over a decade ago, he chose to approach his illness with acceptance and purpose. A few years later, when a close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, his commitment deepened. Drawing on his background in marketing, he realized that personal stories and visible efforts could motivate others more effectively than statistics alone. This led him to join the American Cancer Society’s “Men Wear Pink” campaign, where he fully embraced his now-signature look to bring attention to the cause.

His efforts extend throughout the community in creative and meaningful ways. From handing out pink-wrapped candy during pandemic-era trunk-or-treat events to appearing at festivals, college health fairs, and fundraisers, Daly consistently finds new ways to engage people. He also uses social media and partnerships with local organizations to amplify his message, encouraging early detection and educating others, including men—about breast cancer risks.

Beyond fundraising, Daly’s impact is measured in the lives he touches. People have shared how his advocacy encouraged earlier diagnoses or provided hope during difficult times. Colleagues and partners describe his work as heartfelt and inspiring, noting the ripple effect of his compassion. With cancer rates improving due to early detection and treatment advances—and both Daly and his friend now in remission—he continues to spread a message of resilience: while cancer can change lives, it does not define them.
